There is a lot to figure out about being vegan. Raw fruits and vegetables grown in nutrient-rich soils already contain the enzymes needed for us to digest the plants’ proteins and carbohydrates - yes they do. But so many people eat cooked, canned, and prepared foods that can destroy the naturally-occurring enzymes that help us with digestion.

In the last fourteen years I have tweaked and changed some parts of my diet, learning more about how to get these enzymes into my body every day with my combination of food, cold processed supplements, and daily mindfulness & joy.

I think I've done pretty well. What about you?? You most likely don't live inna tropical paradise where you can just eat all of these abundant raw vegetables and fruits (and there's are some benefits to cooking like with broccoli steaming, etc) ... So I choose easy.
