Seattle Bride invited us out, and with Seattle Weddings by Design uncorks with BevMo’s Tukwila location
As a support system to the catering industry with my amazing certified pure grade essential oils like black pepper oil, cilantro oil, and for the best lemon buttercream our lime essential oil, LifeEssentially.com went with Seattle Weddings by Design‘s very own Mindy Alderson to the special pre-launch event at BevMo’s newest location in Tukwila. Some of the amazing vendors there were photographer, Elizabeth Messina, Invitations by Wedding Paper Divas, beautiful dresses by Kirstie Kelly, and some of the best catered food from Melissa of Foodz Catering. The Caprese Salad Pipets were to die for. A creamy balsamic sauce a pipet (those quaint little devices commonly used in laboratories) accompanies fresh mozzarella, basil, and sweet cherry tomatoes. I could have eaten the entire plate full of them. They were a huge hit, as were these amazing little wrapped asparagus things in a small container with a yummy tart sauce in the bottom of it. Honestly I almost didn’t have room for the Creme de la Creme cupcakes… did I say “almost”. They had a key lime cupcake and a red velvet cupcake with a cheesecake buttercream frosting. Let’s just say I had to do an extra workout on top of my usual Body Beast after eating two… I admit… I had two. I couldn't help myself. It was a very non-paleo evening, but worth it.

I admit I have never heard of BevMo and I was surprised by it. I have never seen so many different kinds of vodka in one place, or wine, or gin… need I say more. What I loved is that you can register your reception there and let their team of beverage experts help you and your wedding planner select the best beverages for your special day. With the registration you get a personal one-on-one service. They had some great ideas like His & Hers cocktails, a martini bar, a mimosa bar, and they have prices to fit every budget. The new 10,000 square foot store, located at 17197 Southcenter Pkwy, will provide local beverage lovers a selection of thousands of wines, spirits, and beers, as well as scrumptious gourmet food items, cocktail mixers, glassware, bar accessories and more. I have never seen so many amazing drinks in my life. The Tieton Cider Works Precipice Perry I thought would be perfect for a wedding. This amazing pear Cider is made exclusively from traditional Perry pears grown in our Washington orchards. These pears are slow and challenging to grow, but the nose of a ripe pear and the dry finish of this cider are worth it. 6.9% Alcohol. Ciders are an expression of the harvest and reflective of the fruit and the place that it is grown. Tieton Cider Works organically grow over forty varieties of cider apples and perry pears for our award winning ciders as well as many varieties for the fresh market. It really was a wonderful event, and I was so glad to be a part of it.
