The Difference Between the Isagenix Active Pack and the JM Ocean Avenue Life Pack
Let's look at what's in the Isagenix Athlete's Pak and the JM Ocean Avenue LifePack
The components of the Athlete's Pak is
- 2 canisters of IsaLean® Shake
1 Ionix® Supreme (liquid or powder)
1 IsaPro®
1 Want More Energy?® canister (45-servings) or 2 boxes of 24-count sticks
1 box IsaLean® Bars
The IsaLean is sweetened with yucca root, honey, vanilla bean and about 14 grams of sugar.
The Ionix Supreme has what they call their proprietary blend of fruit extracts, and blackstrap molasses. You can google about all of the benefits of blackstrap molasses, but you are here on this site because you are living a different life, a paleo vegetarian life. It goes through three boilings of the sugar syrup and the majority of sucrose from the original juice has been crystallized. The blackstrap molasses is still mostly sugar by calories. Blackstrap molasses goes through extensive boiling and probably destroys the integrity of the product.
With WheyBeyond, you get not only amazing bioactive whey, but you get the high ORAC {antioxidant} value without the extra product, and without the blackstrap molasses.
The IsaPro is just another whey product, with stevia and more "natural flavors" and ionic alfalfa (some sort of aloe vera apparently). The exact definition of natural flavors from the Code of Federal Regulations is as follows:
The second ingredient is Empower that I've talked a lot about before. Empower is an innovative breakthrough anti-inflammatory and immune system support supplement empowering your body through our unique patent-pending Nanofractionate formula which may offer relief from discomfort, swelling and other common ailments associated with systematic inflammation.
The IsaPro is just another whey product, with stevia and more "natural flavors" and ionic alfalfa (some sort of aloe vera apparently). The exact definition of natural flavors from the Code of Federal Regulations is as follows:
The term natural flavor or natural flavoring means the essential oil, oleoresin, essence or extractive, protein hydrolysate, distillate, or any product of roasting, heating or enzymolysis, which contains the flavoring constituents derived from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material, meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, dairy products, or fermentation products thereof, whose significant function in food is flavoring rather than nutritional.
The I Want More Energy is full of more vitamins, which your body can only process so many vitamins and minerals at one time, and 7 grams of sugar. Now the Ocean Avenue Focus is not in the LifePack, you can add it on, but it contains no sugar. Focus contains a natural caffeine dose derived from Green Tea Extract combined with L-Theanine that promotes a calming effect for a sustained flow of positive energy.
This natural energy matrix in Focus offers B vitamins to help naturally metabolize carbohydrates as energy sources. It also supplies a healthy dose of B12 to support healthy synaptic activity in the brain.
FOCUS also delivers a payload of key amino acids like taurine to support insulin, brain and cardiovascular activity; tyrosine to support resilience to stress and improve performance while under stress. It's exactly what any athlete is looking for in order to enhance the workout, or keep the system going naturally.
I don't even want to get into the IsaLean Bars because I am not going to promote that you eat a bar that you have made at home, out of your own natural ingredients.
So let's talk about the Ocean Avenue LifePack. It's two products, that you can also add the Focus in to for a very affordable price. It start with the WheyBeyond shake. WheyBeyond is a delicious, sweet undenatured whey protein combined with glutathione precursors to support enhanced immune system response, optimal glutathione antioxidant activity and improved appetite control. Unlike typical artificial flavored whey proteins, WheyBeyond is all naturally flavored while maintaining high protein count making it among the highest biological value proteins on the planet.

Empower's nutrient-gene activity provides anti-aging support by protecting the disulfide bonds in connective tissues throughout the body.
There is nothing like Empower to promote recovery, regeneration and rebuilding of tissues.
So what do you want to use, you elite athletes, aging marathoners and moms looking for more energy (curcumin is widely known for creating energy naturally) that want to get more out of their workout. I'm a believer in the less is more approach to whole foods, and so it doesn't seem like a hard decision to make.
